Western Libraries will host a panel discussion about digital scholarship on Oct. 19th. Two speakers will discuss how they use technologies to open up communication and facilitate collaborations among scholars in different disciplines. They will also talk about the impact of technologies on research practice and scholarship advancement. There will be a moderated discussion between the speakers and the audience after the two presentations.

A workshop will be held on Oct. 21st to help participants learn how to ensure that their published research will be openly available online in a legal manner.
