- Creating greater understanding of Open Access to Makerere University Academia and Researchers; Initiate and create greater understanding of the Open Access Movement among Makerere Community and most especially among student groups; Increasing wider awareness and use of Uganda Scholarly Digital library, Makerere University's IR; Promoting and providing training in Open Access resources (this activity will be incorporated in the campus wide e-resources training for all undergraduate students this semester); Creating awareness of Open Access policies to University administrators to create, Academia, Researcher, and students to create, share and improve access to information and electronic resources; of course having fun with displays.
