The theme for this year's International Open Access Week, happening between October 23rd and 27th, centers on "Community over Commercialization." Open Access Week 2023 presents an opportunity to unite, take action, and raise awareness regarding the importance of community control over knowledge-sharing systems. To celebrate the moto importance and set the commitment to open access, the Library Research Support team is organizing a special World Café workshop titled "Unlocking Open Access Book Publishing with Open Press”. This workshop will provide Tilburg University research community a hands-on opportunity to explore open access book publishing and community-driven initiatives through Open Press Tilburg University.
