Sian Phillips, Lancaster resident and Dom Phillips’ sister, will open the event, with music from musician/composer Pete Moser, Brazilian sounds from DJ Naomi Carole, and Brazilian food. There’ll be a chance to see the newly curated exhibition which pulls no punches about the destruction of the Amazon but also highlights some local sustainable solutions that Dom and Bruno were investigating when they were killed in the Amazon in June: and gives some things that we in the North can change now to influence things . Free, all welcome, donations invited to a fund set up by Dom and Bruno’s families to support the indigenous defenders of the rainforest.
