  • Perth, WA Australia (map)

Curtin University Library funded a project to explore the role of Australian institutional repositories in sharing academic research. We interviewed 22 library leaders and repository managers from 17 Australian universities. In this webinar, we will share the findings from the project, including:

- The challenges university libraries face for their institutional repositories
- The strategic directions for and the future of institutional repositories
- The perceptions of third-party repositories
- The role of subject-based and general repositories in sharing academic research
- The conversations we need to have on a national level about repositories and open research

This event is suitable for library staff, research support professionals, library and information science researchers, and open source and commercial repository vendors and providers.

A link to the webinar will be provided via email. The session will be recorded and a link will be provided to those registered.
