Why Publish Open Access? A Panel Discussion

  • Birmingham, AL United States (map)

Celebrate International Open Access Week 2022 by joining us for a panel discussion featuring UAB faculty who publish open access (OA). The panelists will discuss why they opted for OA over the traditional publishing route. This year’s theme, Open for Climate Justice, brings attention to the role OA publishing can play in the fight to combat climate change. After the panelists speak, there will be time for questions from the audience. This event is sponsored by the UAB Libraries Office of Scholarly Communication.
