Workshop on Open Citations and Open Scholarly Metadata 2023 (Bologna, 26-27 October 2023) About 2 billion open bibliographic citations are available on the web.

During the two-day event, researchers, policy-makers and scholarly publishers will gather in the historical location of the University of Bologna to take part in the plenary presentations and discussions around the widespread adoption of practices for the creation, reuse and improvement of open citation data, with a focus on this year’s theme:  "The value of open scholarly metadata for research assessment purposes".
