Community Over Commercialization: Embracing Open Scholarship in Teaching and Research A Panel Discussion

  • Virtual NC United States (map)

As part of Bluford Library’s celebration of International Open Access Week, we are hosting a virtual panel discussion centered on this year’s OAW theme, “Community over Commercialization.” This event will explore how the university’s open-access initiatives, including e-journal publishing, open educational resources (OERs), and Creative Commons licensing, empower community-driven scholarly communication and education.

Our panelists, including N.C. A&T faculty who lead open publishing efforts, will share their insights on the benefits of prioritizing open access over commercial models.
