Academic networks such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu are established and useful for networking and communicating among researchers. But can one's own publications be uploaded to these platforms without any problems? When, with whom and under what conditions can I share articles?
In this lunch talk, we will look at these questions in more detail using selected publications as examples. We will also discuss how the publishing function in academic networks should be assessed from the perspective of open access principles (free access, reusability, findability).
After a lecture lasting around twenty minutes, there will be an opportunity to discuss questions.
