Open Science, community or commercialization?
Open Science, community or commercialization?
Due to national agreements, more and more scholarly articles produced by Swedish institutions are published as Open Access. One could almost say that we are at the fore front. But who is actually gaining from this development, the publishers or the community?
The theme for this year’s Open Access Week is Community over Commercialization. We therefore welcome you to join us at the University Library for a discussion on Zoom about how the shift to Open Science can become more sustainable. The discussion will start off with a presentation of recent publishing data concerning Sweden.
